The Martins family is hosting the 1st Annual Runnin’ for Rett 5k and 1 Mile Walk\, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Rett Syndrome Angels charity. \n\n\n\nWhether you want to run the 5k\, take a leisurely 1-mile walk with your loved one\, or cheer on the kids\, there is something for everyone to enjoy while supporting a wonderful cause. \n\n\n\nEvent Details\n\n\n\nDate: Saturday October 18\, 2026Location: Jessica’s Boundless Playground / Chestnut Hill Community School Parking Lot\, Belchertown\, MA 01007Courses: Both the 5k run and the 1-mile walk start and end right next to the fully handicap-accessible Jessica’s Boundless Playground. \n\n\n\nSchedule of Events\n\n\n\n10:45 AM – 11:00 AM: Free Kids’ Fun Run (For children ages 10 and under)11:30 AM: 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk Start TimePost-Race: Food trucks\, face painting\, raffle prizes\, and playground fun! \n\n\n\nRegistration & Pricing\n\n\n\nCost: $30 for either the 5k or the 1-mile walk.T-Shirt Deadline: Register prior to October 1st to guarantee your official event t-shirt.Registrations after October 1st will not guarantee a shirt. \n\n\n\nHighlights & Activities\n\n\n\nFood Trucks: Grab a delicious bite to eat after crossing the finish line.Kids’ Fun Run: A complimentary run just for the little ones (ages 10 & under).Face Painting & Raffles: Stick around after the race for family-friendly activities and exciting raffle prizes.Accessible Playground: Enjoy a day out at Jessica’s Boundless Playground\, designed so everyone can play and participate. \n\n\n\nThe Heart Behind Jessica’s Boundless Playground\n\n\n\nThis run holds a deeply special place in our hearts.
