We have been supporting families throughout New England by providing services, resources, and awareness. In addition; we raise funds towards the advancement of Rett syndrome research
Our Mission:
Rett Syndrome Angels is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with Rett Syndrome through support, advocacy, community engagements, and awareness. In addition; we raise funds towards the advancement of Rett syndrome research.
We strive to create a brighter future for individuals and families impacted by Rett Syndrome. We achieve this through:
- Supportive Connections: We foster a compassionate community where caregivers can share experiences, find solace, and offer mutual support.
- Supportive Assistance : Our “Angel Fund” provides support during challenging times, easing the burden for families caring for loved ones with Rett Syndrome. The Maria McTernan Sibling Scholarship provides financial assistance for higher education to qualifying applicants.
- Education and Awareness: We empower families by keeping them informed about the latest developments in education, medical research, and legislation related to Rett Syndrome.
- Research Advancement: By funding cutting-edge research in the Boston area, we strive to unlock breakthroughs that enhance understanding and treatment options.
- Inclusive Activities: Our programs enable children and adults with Rett Syndrome to engage in enjoyable activities, promoting health, social interaction and community engagement.
