Team Rett Runner Profile: Maurice Lowman
Maurice joined Team Rett in 2020 when approached by his coach Lori Mitchener, who has a personal connection to Rett Syndrome. “I am humbled and truly grateful to be raising funds and awareness for Rett!! To be able to do something I love while giving back is a blessing in itself.”
What inspired Maurice to run?
Maurice embraces his role as a cheerleading hype-man within the running community. If Maurice is not running the streets telling everyone who will listen about his sobriety and 5+ year consecutive outside run streak then he is at work combining his passion for people and automobiles at Priority Automotive’s Kia Of Attleboro.
What is Maurice’s goal?
Still riding the momentum from last year’s successful campaign & virtual Boston Marathon for TEAM RETT he looks forward to raising funds and awareness for such a fantastic cause this year!! Boston will be Maurice’s 30th marathon while he is diving feet first into the Ultra community he loves his role as a CHARITY RUNNER being able to give back while doing something he loves!! He is driven to raise 10k plus this year again for these angels.
